Xycom 5015T/R2 Industrial Heavy-Duty Monitor

XYCOM AUTOMATION ANNOUNCES THE LAUNCH OF THE NEW 5015T/R2 HEAVY-DUTY INDUSTRIAL MONITOR

Xycom Automation, Inc., a subsidiary of Pro-face America, Inc. and a market leader in Industrial PCs, announces the release of the 5015T/R2 flat panel touch monitor. The 5015T/R2 is a low cost, high-performance, panel mount, 15" LCD touch monitor suitable for demanding plant floor applications as well as Class I & II, Division 2 Hazardous Location installations.

Based on the latest TFT LCD technology, the 5015T/R2 displays images with resolutions up to 1024 x 768 with refresh rates up to 75Hz. With a typical brightness of 350 nits, 400:1 contrast ratio and 150-degree horizontal viewing angle, the 5015T/R2 produces outstanding image quality. Its state-of-the-art scaling engine allows lower resolution images, such as 640 x 480, and 800 x 600 to be smoothly stretched to fill the full 15" viewing area. The 5015T/R2 accepts inputs from standard 15-pin analog VGA connections.

Solidly engineered and tested, the 5015T/R2 is built using all metal construction and a powder coated aluminum front bezel that meets NEMA 4/4X/12 sealing requirements. In addition to panel mounting, the 5015T/R2 may be attached to any VESA 75 mm standard mounting arm. Screen adjustment controls are conveniently located on the front bezel and can be disabled via a lock out switch located on the rear of the monitor. The 5015T/R2 ships standard with an analog resistive touchscreen which can be utilized via standard serial or USB connections, both provided. Additionally, the back of the monitor has provisions for mounting Xycom's 1300-CLIENT and 1506 node computers. 24VDC input power is also optional. The 5015T/R2 can be used to directly replace both the very successful Xycom 5015T and Viewtronix XT1502T-A industrial flat panel monitors by simply attaching the included mounting spacers.
